Come to PetSmart in Bolingbrook (159 N Weber Road) on Sunday\, October 16th from 12 noon to 3pm. When you arrive\, you will get to meet COLE and ASH\, a pair of bonded siblings that were rescued by Humane Haven Animal Shelter. If they’re the purrrrrfect match for you\, we’ll set up your adoption paperwork right away! COLE and ASH (DOB 8/15/22) were found when they were about 2 1/2 weeks old\, before they could even walk or be weaned. Somehow\, they were separated from their mother and siblings (if there were others). They were taken in by an HHAS volunteer\, who cared for and bottle-fed them to the point where they are now strong\, healthy\, and ready for their forever home. These sweet babies play\, cuddle\, and comfort each other\, so they must be adopted together. Like most young kittens\, COLE and ASH run around like energizer bunnies. Besides running around their safe room\, anything and everything is a toy\, but their favorite toy is each other. They play well with the other cats in the house\, and they would likely do well with children and dogs\, if properly introduced. \n\nCOLE and ASH can be shy at first\, but like to sit on laps for pets and snuggles. Their new home would need some babyproofing. \n\nWe have a sneak peek with photos of each of them below (just mouse over the picture to see who is who)\, but believe us: these adorable pictures don’t do them justice! DESCRIPTION:A wonderful family who has adopted from Humane Haven Animal Shelter has decided this year HHAS will be the beneficiary of their epic Halloween Trick-or-Treat display! The display is up for one day only! It will be open to mummies and daddies and little ghouls alike on Sunday October 30th. The hours are from 2pm – 5pm. In addition to seeing their spook-tacular yard setup\, the family will be collecting donations for the homeless cats and kittens of HHAS! So on Sunday the 30th\, stop by 1082 Crestwood Lane in Bolingbrook\, between the hours of 2pm and 5pm! If you and your little goblins stop by and have a frightfully good time taking in the sights\, they’d greatly appreciate if you would leave cat food\, cat toys or a monetary gift to show your appreciation.
