RED TYPE DENOTES  'IN SPECIAL NEED'

Meet beautiful Nova, a jet-black adult girl who loves to
cuddle and be petted.  While Nova loves her human companions, she really
doesn't like to be around other cats - she needs to be the only cat in
the household.  So if you're a "one-cat" type of person, swing by and
meet her - Nova would love to see you!

Meet Rocco, a sweet snuggler who also knows his way around
a ball and feather toy.  Rocco is a classic "people cat" that truly
enjoys his human companions, but he doesn't appreciate other cats.
Rocco needs to be the first and only cat in the household, since other
cats' scents stress him out a bit - fortunately, his sweet disposition
more than makes up for it!

Meet Ethel, a little beauty born in February, 2007.  As you can
see from her picture, Ethel loves to be held, will hold on to your arms or
shoulder when you pick her up.  She's a quiet little girl who prefers hugs
to toys, so if you're looking for a good lap cat, you should come by and
meet her.

Don't mind Tanya - the bright camera flash just made her
blink.  Her beautiful yellow-green eyes are truly striking, but you'll have
to take my word for it.  Or better yet, come and see for yourself!  Tanya's
a great girl born in August, 2008.  She splits her time equally between her
rattling ball and her human companion - she enjoys attention, and loves an
ear scratch.

Meet Sudoku, a gorgeous Siamese beauty with blue eyes that will melt your
heart.  Sudoku isn't much of a player, but will definitely curl up in your
lap for a nice nap.  Sudoku enjoys her human companions, but does not get
along well with other cats, so she'll need to be the only cat in the
household.  Sudoku was born in December, 2005.

Meet Whisper, a gentle and nonchalant grey tabby that loves to lounge around
on a nice, soft spot.  As you can see, she digs a good ear and cheek scratch
- she leans right in and enjoys the attention.  Somewhere along the line she
lost the tip of her left ear, but you'll hardly notice once she snuggles
into your lap.  Whisper was born in March, 2008.

Tatiana: Tatiana is a young female tortie. She's a nice little girl who,
like many others, is ready for her forever home. Like many torties, Tatiana
has a mind of her own, but is very sweet. She's fine with other cats, though
she may not be a playmate for them.

Flo: Here's Flo, chilling out for the camera.  Flo came to us as a very
young mother, but now that her kittens are independent (and proud of it!),
she's ready for someone to take her home.  She's a real sweetheart who loves
to be petted.

Here's Felicia, a sophisticated lady who prefers cuddling on a lap over
roughhousing with toys.  She is calm and quiet, and loves to be petted and
to have her head scratched, but prefers to keep all four paws on the ground.

Alcott (orange shorthair) and Hemmingway (Medium hair buff) are sweet, active, affectionate and playful 8 and 9 month old kittens who had the misfortune of being exposed to a communicable cat disease when they were tiny babies. They are healthy, thriving little boys, but may pass the disease to other cats (not to dogs or people)--so they need to be the only cats in the household (any other pet okay). If you like energetic and curious kittens, you'll love these guys! While we'd prefer it, they are not required to go home together. Stop by Petsmart to fill out an application and meet the cats, or call 630-378-4208 line 2 for more informatio.n

Duncan is a low key, 7 year old gentleman.  Although he has a quiet demeanor, he's sure got a lot to say.

Duma is a 3 year old tabby and white boy.  He's  friendly, good with other cats and an all around nice guy.

Carat is one of many cats rescued from a hoarding situation.  At about six months old, he's  ready for a happy, healthy home.  Carat is friendly and active, and has velvet-soft fur.

Pacman was also rescued from the hoarder situation.  Pacman would love a quieter household with people who would give him  time and space to relax and bond with his family.  We'd love for him to go home with his best friend, Carat, but it is not required.

Alicia is a very unique looking, beautiful little torbie girl with a personality as sweet as her little face.

ALL kittens  are only seen during adoption hours at Bolingbrook Petsmart.  If you know you'd like to see one in particular  please leave a message on our cage line  at least one day ahead so we are sure to bring them that day.

The kittens shown here represent just a small cross section of our current kittens.  please see Petfinder. com or stop by during adoption hours to see more of our great adult and juvenile cats as well as kittens 11 weeks and up.

REMEMBER: A cat is not a toy or an object, it is a living, loving, caring, FEELING being. Adoption means making him/her an important part of your family, and committing to it's care for ALL of the rest of it's life.

Note: There are cats still waiting for a space in our shelter.  The ones pictured here are safe, but the ones that are still waiting have a very limited amount of time.  Remember, adopting a pet opens a space and saves another life. You have saved another life.
