There are so many reasons to open up your home to a cat from Humane Haven Animal Shelter. First, you will see we have cats of all different sizes, colors and shapes. Second, you’re making a difference in the community as our animals are rescued from the local area.Third, we have the cat for you! We have cats ranging from kittens to seniors, all of whom are eager to come home with you. Fourth, all of our cats are fully spayed/neutered, de-wormed, immunized and micro-chipped! And above everything else, by choosing to adopt a cat from Humane Haven Animal Shelter, you are choosing to save a life! When you adopt a cat from Humane Haven, you enjoy bringing a loving, unique kitty into your home and in turn help us to bring another feline into the protection of our fully volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization.

We have a wide variety of loving cats looking to be placed in their Forever Home. Some of our cats can be seen at the Bolingbrook PetsMart in their Plexiglas cage fronts during PetSmart hours, but many others are waiting patiently to meet you at adoption hours while living in their home at our shelter facility. Our upcoming adoption hours (for meeting and interviewing) are listed on our front page in the Adoption Hours section.
Our Adoption Process page explains the steps to adopt a cat or kitten, as well as our fee schedule. 100% of the fees paid to adopt your new family member go directly to the shelter, helping defray the cost of medical care, food and housing.
