Giving Tuesday helps save cats like Grace!

Everyone loves kittens. What’s not to love, right? They’re fun and active and cute! While we do have
kitten litters periodically, we also have cats that have special needs, like our quiet, gentle girl, Grace.

Grace’s story doesn’t have a happy ending yet.

Grace is STILL looking for that forever family that will give her the extra love and care she deserves, so she can give all her love back to them. In the meantime, we continue to provide for her, just like all of the other cats and kittens in our care.

This sweet girl would like nothing more than to be held, stroked and spoken to softly. But she also has a
disease called megaesophagus, which means her esophagus does not contract properly. This makes it
difficult for her to keep food down, but Grace is responding well to daily meds, which are inexpensive,
and a diet change.

Since Grace came to HHAS earlier this year, she has continued to gain weight by eating only pate-type
canned food on an elevated feeder, along with her daily medication. She is now used to eating food this
way and is thriving!

We do more than provide cats with food, litter, toys and socialization. We’re there for them when they
need medical care, rehabilitation, or just added attention like we do for Grace.

This is what we do. This is why we do it. But we need your help to continue.

Our need for food, litter, treats, toys and monetary donations is year-round. If you want to
donate items through our Chewy.com wish list, you can do so at https://bit.ly/3qQrlb8

If you want to make a monetary donation, go to our website at

Again, thank you ❤ so much for your continued support as we find loving homes for our cats and kittens. 🐈
